5th Annual Bike/Gear Swap & Expo
Save the date! The 5th annual Bike/Gear Swap & Expo will be taking place on Saturday, April 28th at the Revelstoke Forum (1100 Vernon Ave.)
With hundreds of Revelstoke residents coming through, the Bike Swap & Expo is a great way to get your hands on a (gently used) new bike, or sell your old bike without the hassle. We do all the work for you! Do you have a bike that’s in rough shape but still has some life left? Let us pick it up, work on it, and sell it at the swap! Knee pads not fitting right anymore? Pedals and gears collecting dust in the basement? Sell them at the swap!
There will be retailers and bike experts on site to answer your questions and will have product for sale.
$3 to register your gear for sale, with 15% of the sale price going to the NCES.
$3 entry or $5 per family, kids under 5 are free.
Saturday, April 28th
Product registration starts at 10am, doors open to the public 12pm.
Pick up unsold gear or cash at 1:30pm.
Unsold bikes or gear that are not picked up by 1:30pm will be transported to a secure location. Bikes/gear not picked up 1 week after event date will be sold, with all profits going to the NCES.
Big thanks to our sponsors and supporters who make the event possible:
City of Revelstoke, Columbia Basin Trust, Flowt Bikes & Skis, Revelstoke Museum & Archives, and all of the retailers and business owners that donate product for the raffle.
In an ongoing effort to promote sustainable transportation options within the community of Revelstoke, the North Columbia Environmental Society would like to give away one FREE bike to a candidate that requires a mode of fossil fuel-free transportation.
If you are on a budget, looking for ways to use your vehicle less, or simply looking for alternative transportation options, this giveaway is for you!
Winner will be notified on April 21st, bike will be delivered on April 28th at the 5th Annual Bike Swap.
